I was going to cancel this week’s installment, and to be honest I don’t have anything that I fancy posting. But I don’t want to go into Shabbat with the last bits of bad news on my front page, so I found a couple of sweet videos to put us in a better mood.
The first video is simply an “Aww” moment:
And the second is a beautiful song which became almost an anthem for the last Gaza war. It is a prayer asking G-d to listen to our prayer and save us. No time to translate. Perhaps after Shabbat.
May we all merit G-d’s protection in this difficult time. May he protect our soldiers and citizens and keep them all safe. May we all have a quiet and safe Shabbat.
Shabbat Shalom everyone.

BECAUSE of what’s going on, we are compelled to end on a positive note! We can’t give in! We must not. Shabbat Shalom from Ashkelon.

Shavua tov Leslie. I hope you managed to get some rest in between alarms on Shabbat. Please stay safe! Contact me offline if you would like to take refuge out of range of fire.
I am listening to the video while I write this I wish you and all our family in Israel good Shabbas and hope it is quite.
G-g bless you all

Thank you Anne. Read my next update to see how Shabbat went. Not as bad as it could have been but plenty bad enough.
That baboon is the spitting image of the head of the Irish Palestinian Solidarity Campaign, a shower of howling at the moon anti Semites. I hope for his sake that it is a Hamas kitten he has adopted and not an IDF one.

That’s excellent news Andrea! Thank you! It is indeed very heart-warming for us. Kudos to the Italian parliamentarians. I admire their courage – both physical and political. Bravo!
I just saw the videos -what a nice way to start the week-& what a shabbat it was with 300 rockets sent flying over our beleagered country. I wish everyone a quiet & safe nite
Thanks and Amen.
