Islamic hate preacher barred from Britain

Last week we were dismayed to learn that the Islamic hate preacher Sheikh Ekrima Sabri had been invited by EuroPal, a pro-Palestinian group to speak in Parliament (!).  The Zionist Federation posted on Facebook:

The notorious Islamist hate preacher who called for Britain to be “destroyed” has been invited to speak in parliament this month. Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, a former Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and current Imam of the city’s Al-Aqsa Mosque, will visit Britain as part of a delegation organised by pro-Palestinian group EuroPal.

The ZF, with its project, the Israel Britain Alliance, has sent a letter to every one of the 650 MP’s drawing their attention to the true nature of this Imam.

Please view this video to see the kind of Imam that Ekrami Sabri is:

It was therefore with huge relief that we learned that this hateful man was finally banned from entering Britain, thanks to the petition and protest campaign led by the ZF and Christians United for Israel (CUFI). From the first link:

The former Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, a terrorist-supporting, Holocaust-denying anti-Semite who has called for the destruction of Britain has been DENIED entry into the UK and will now NOT meet MPs in the UK Parliament next week.

Over 18,000 people had signed a CUFI petition launched four days ago calling upon the UK Government to ban Sheikh Ekrima Sabri from entering the UK and not be allowed to attend Parliament as planned.

In an email seen by CUFI that was sent to all MPs overnight, Sheikh Ekrima Sabri and one other member of the delegation organised by pro-Palestinian group EuroPal, have “both been unsuccessful in obtaining an entry visa for technical reasons, and therefore will not be joining the delegation”.

Kol hakavod to CUFI for their persistent campaign to prevent this vile hate preacher from entering Britain, let alone addressing an audience in Parliament of all places!  The organization that invited him, EuroPal, should be investigated for incitement and racism for extending an invitation to a man who promotes terrorism and murder and advocates for the destruction of Britain as well as Israel and the Jews.

Kol hakavod too to all those who signed the petition and wrote letters to their MPs.

We can be grateful that common sense won the day for a change.

The only shame is, that if he had entered the UK, maybe we could have acted to ban his re-entry to Israel.

Freedom of speech is a universal standard. One of its limits is that a person’s freedom of speech ends at the tip of my (and everyone else’s nose).
Another limit is that we don’t have to give the Hate Speech speaker a platform beyond what is afforded to any other person, and speaking to Parliament is quite a privilege, and not included in the “right to free speech”.
Yet another limit is that when a person intends to speak of Hate and destruction, the people of a free state have the right to lawfully protest that intention, and not allow him to set foot on the soil he intends to harm.
Yes. I don’t have the Hebrew, but when people have done well, we used to say in South Philadelphia:, “Damned good!” Congratulations on drawing that line for this hatemonger. Would that you could mark his forehead thusly.

Oh, yes. I am reading “Obama’s assault on Jerusalem’s Western Wall” by Ezequiel Doiny. Barbarians, when allowed to speak among their civil betters (I am talking about Arafat, here), speak what they wish and then lie about it afterward.
The jury is still out on the other guy. I have yet to finish the book.
