Despite a ceasefire having been declared between Israel and Hamas I am both unhappy and uneasy at the situation, as I am sure you have gathered by now. This has put me in the kind of mood where nothing seems good news.
However, as in the case of last week, I do not want to leave this blog over Shabbat with bad news or controversy at the top, so I’ve decided to have a little laugh at the expense of Hamas. Or perhaps it is a laugh at our own expense, but I hope it brings a smile to your face.
The following video is not new – it was made after Operation Cast Lead 4 years ago – but every word still rings true, and really, the way the actors carry off the dialogue in their deadpan British way is brilliant.
May the coming week bring only good news.
